- If God is so strategic in sending these students to our country's universities for a short window of time, then we need to be proactive in reaching them with the Gospel.

- Currently, in Springfield, there are no full-time international student ministers. Attempts are being made by other campus ministries and churches, but there is a lack of consistent and effective ministry or outreach to the 800 - 1 000 international students in Springfield.

- Our future leaders - "Today they learn tomorrow they lead!" International students are the leaders of tomorrow, they will return home to make a difference and have an impact in the world at one level or another. The question is, 'Will they make
a difference for Jesus Christ?' 

- Their American education opens doors for these students in their home countries.  Who better to equip and train for effective ministry other than the world movers and shakers that God is placing here at our doorstep studying at our secular universities.

- International students who are currently studying or working in the United States, but intend to return to their country of origin or go to another country as a missionary are essential to reaching the nations. [See the Study Center information.]

- It saves thousands of missions dollars!!!! These students are being paid by their governments, through scholarships, or by their families to come and study here in the US. But if their time here works for a dual purpose of education and ministry training, the only money that is being spent to make them effective missionaries/ministers is on the cost of the ministry training.
